I began my journey in art at a young age, taking lessons from a woman in my local neighborhood. Unfortunately I had to stop when my father left and i had to go to work to bring money into the household, It was only 50 short years later that the artistic fire was rekindled.
My love of non objective art stems from my admiration of painting that represents no object or subject observable with the human eye. It might be emotion or thought or simply a beautiful arrangement of colors and forms to be enjoyed for beauty's sake alone. Photography long ago freed artists from any obligation to reproduce the world we can see already. We now have the freedom to try to connect with a higher order of nature.
