Dunleath Porchfest Call for Performers

The Dunleath Historic Neighborhood in Greensboro, NC is seeking performers for its annual Dunleath Porchfest, scheduled for Saturday, June 7.  Performers of all types are invited to participate – singers and musicians (solo or ensemble), dancers, and storytellers. We welcome a broad mix of musical genres -- bluegrass, classical, country, folk, gospel, jazz, Latin, rock, R&B -- the more genres the better. Last year, more than 60 performing groups from the region were featured, treating our guests to music, singing.

At Porchfest, neighbors offer their porches as performance venues, and performers offer to share their talents. The two are paired, the community is invited, and guests can stroll from house to house to enjoy music, goodwill, and Dunleath hospitality in a festival-like atmosphere throughout the afternoon. The event culminates in a single performance at Sternberger Park to conclude the event. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
