Creative Greensboro, the City of Greensboro’s office of arts and culture, will award $60,000 through a new Catalyzing Creativity Grants program. The grants will provide financial support to nonprofits or individuals to engage historically marginalized communities through creative programming. The deadline to apply is October 30. As COVID-19 continues to affect the world and particularly the live entertainment industry, the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts announced today that WICKED, originally scheduled for November 18 – December 6, 2020, has been postponed.

Elton John concert at Greensboro Coliseum rescheduled for Apr. 19, 2022. Ticket holders for all postponed performances will receive new event information shortly and all original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled performances.
