Description
Indelible presents four NC artists whose artwork reflects the role of inherited cultural practices in imagining stories that reflect individual investigations of identity. Incandescent paintings by Aimée Garcia, visionary polychrome clay sculptures by Abir Mohsen, expressive portraits by Isabel Lu, and intricate line illustrations by Eliana Esquival give utterance to marginalized voices.
These talented artists' distinct styles inspire open and honest discussions of race, institutionalized inequality, and the possibility of transcendence.
